Third sector organisations working in, or exploring employability, are invited to join the first meeting of a new Service Design in Employability Community of Practice
The meeting will take place on Thursday 10 October, 12pm – 1pm, online using Teams.
This Community of Practice is open to anyone supporting, or interested in supporting, service design and co-production activity in the arena of employability. This includes frontline staff, managers, strategic leads and, perhaps most importantly, people with relevant lived experience.
You do not need to be an expert or even remotely confident, the goal is for this to be a supportive and safe space for us to learn together and grow confidence and skills to deliver meaningful service design, wherever we are and whatever our perspective.
While the group may start quite large it will be our intention to work mostly in much smaller break out rooms of just 4 or 5. If there is that would help to make the space feel welcoming, accessible and safe for you, or for a colleague, then please let me know directly. My email is at the bottom of this message.
At our first session we will collectively identify what folks would like from being part of this Community of Practice, how it might run and, crucially, what needs to be in place for it to be a safe learning space for all.
Hopefully we will together embody the spirit of co-production in service design as we go, and through this create a shape and outline for future sessions.
