Oak Tree Housing Association is bringing an exciting opportunity for people in the South West of Greenock to decide how £35,000 is spent in their community. People in Branchton, Bow Farm, Fancy Farm, Grieve Road and Pennyfern, can put forward ideas for local health and wellbeing projects and then vote on the ideas they like the best.
IYA Project in hunt for young volunteers
CVS Inverclyde is on the hunt for young volunteers aged between 12 and 25 years who are keen to make a difference to youth volunteering in the area, as it forges ahead with its new Inverclyde Youth Action (IYA) project.
They will join forces as a youth subgroup to feed into IYA, which aims to increase access to more quality volunteering opportunities for young people that can help spark a change in their lives.
CVSI Awarded Funds to Support Youth Volunteering
CVS Inverclyde has been awarded £8,500 for its new Inverclyde Youth Action (IYA) project from the Year of Young People 2018 National Lottery Fund. The Fund supports initiatives aimed at inspiring young people to lead active lives and encourage positive mental health.
