Aspiring Communities to hear Council's plans for participatory budgeting

Delegates will hear about Inverclyde Council's plans to distribute at least £350,000 across Inverclyde through a participatory budgeting process, as part of CVS Inverclyde's third sector conference, Aspiring Communities. The annual community conference takes place at the Beacon Arts Centre on Friday 7 September, 9am to 2pm.

With plans being launched in September, the participatory budgeting process will see local community groups given the opportunity to propose ideas about how to spend the money, amounting to £50,000 in each of Inverclyde's seven ward areas.
