COVID Conversations - Future of Volunteering in Inverclyde
|Tuesday 14 July 2020, 10:00am - 12:00pm |
We continue our series of free online COVID Conversations, this time with our Volunteer Inverclyde team who will provide guidance on managing volunteers after COVID-19.
The COVID Conversations – Future of Volunteering in Inverclyde session will take place on Tuesday 14 July at 10am. It will be hosted by Catriona MacLeod, our Volunteer Development Officer who also manages the Volunteer Inverclyde initiative.
"If organisations find themselves struggling to accommodate existing volunteers or have concerns about how to reintroduce volunteers – their role changes, PPE and social distancing – then this is the platform where people can seek guidance," said Catriona.
"While we might not have all the answers yet, we want to help organisations start moving in the right direction and thinking about how they plan to accommodate their volunteers.
"We will touch on legacy and recognition for those who may be facing a surplus of volunteers, having recruited more people during the COVID-19 crisis period but now no longer all needed as we gradually move forward. We look forward to welcoming everyone to this session on Zoom"
This free Zoom session forms part of the CVS Inverclyde COVID Conversations series taking place over the coming weeks. People can book via Eventbrite or via the link on its website events calendar - www.cvsinverclyde.org.uk.
