Join an informal session facilitated by Tamara Hedderwick (Community Enabler) to help you learn more about Tesco Stronger Starts and access practical support to help you complete your application.

The Tesco Stronger Starts funding programme awards 3 groups quarterly after each 3-month instore customer voting period in each of the Port Glasgow and Greenock stores. This is a rolling programme, where community groups, charities and local authorities can apply for funding all year round to their local store or, if they work across Inverclyde, both stores.

Applications are open to all local good causes, with the current priority helping projects that support young people’s health and wellbeing as well as local store nominated good causes

Apply before August for awards of 1st – £1,500; 2nd – £1,000 and 3rd – £500 after the vote results are counted. The next opportunity of funding will be the Oct – Dec customer vote with awards in Feb ’25 and awardees have a year to spend the funds.

This is also a great opportunity for groups to promote the good work that they do locally.
