Being ‘Trauma Informed’ means being able to recognise when someone may be affected by trauma, collaboratively adjusting how we work to take this into account and responding in a way that supports recovery, does no harm and recognises and supports people’s resilience.
To support Inverclyde’s ambition to become a trauma informed local authority, the local Trauma Informed Practice Lead Officer is offering Level 2 training for 3rd sector organisations. Level 2 training is for staff who regularly come into contact with vulnerable people.
This is a full day session and participants are asked to provide their own lunch.
