CVS Inverclyde arranged Mental Health Fist Aid Training for the local third sector.

The training was delivered over two days by Macdonald & MacMillan Training using resources from Public Health Scotland.

Some CVSI colleagues attended the course which covered a range of topics: common mental health conditions and factors which can cause poor mental health; self-harm; how to ask someone if they are suicidal; and substance use.

We are hugely grateful to Macdonald & MacMillan for their passion and expertise, and to the Scottish Union of Supported Employment for funding the training and helping to arrange the venue.
