New decade, new future for Greenock East and Central communities ...
An event is being held on Saturday 14 March, 11am to 1pm in Inverclyde Community Hub, to give Greenock East and Central residents the opportunity to have their say about ways they can help shape the future of their own neighbourhoods.
"As we start this new decade in 2020, it's the perfect time for people to get involved and have their say," said Bill Clements, Deputy Manager of CVS Inverclyde and Programme Manager for Our Place Our Future Greenock East and Central (OPOF), hosts of the event in partnership with Inverclyde HSCP and Inverclyde Alliance.
"So, if you live in Greenock East and Central, we are encouraging you to get on board. This is for you and your chance to have your say and share ideas that could spark a fresh start for both you and your community.
"It's also a chance to meet friends and neighbours, talk about how you can get together and make a difference, perhaps by giving up some spare time to contribute to making your neighbourhood a more friendly, inviting place to live, work and play? We look forward to welcoming residents to the event."
The Greenock East and Central event will take place at the Inverclyde Community Hub, 75-81 Cathcart Street, in Greenock town centre, where lunch, tea, coffee and cakes will be provided.
