Prescription service for Inverclyde

CVS Inverclyde and Compassionate Inverclyde are joining forces and working with the local COVID-19 community groups to signpost into a new Inverclyde prescription service for local residents needing support during the pandemic.

The Inverclyde Community Link Worker (CLW) team, managed by CVS Inverclyde, are now our team of Shielders. They are workings tirelessly alongside local community groups, to connect with individuals in their neighbourhoods in a bid to ensure everyone in need receives their prescription on time.

If you know someone who needs a prescription collected from their pharmacy, simply email or call CVS Inverclyde on E: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or T: 01475 711733 with the following details for the person:

Date of birth
Contact number
Which pharmacy they use and
When the prescription is needed

Our Shielders are actively supporting the community during the COVID-19 outbreak in many other ways. While usually based in the 14 GP practices in Inverclyde, the team are using technology to continue to help people through phone calls, video calls and text messaging. Thanks to this approach, they are still able to take referrals from anyone who feels that they would benefit from their support.

Further community services are in the final stages of planning and will emerge in the coming days.

Our team are currently working remote of the office but can be contacted via individual emails or ...
