CVS Inverclyde is offering dedicated support to voluntary organisations, social enterprises and community groups across the region during the COVID-19 pandemic, through its Inverclyde Third Sector Advice Service (I3-SAS)
The I3-SAS helpline is being manned by CVS Inverclyde staff to provide their expert advice on a wide range of issues including funding, HR and staffing, governance, IT, independent financial examinations and OSCR enquiries.
Commenting on I3-SAS, Charlene Elliott, Chief Executive Officer, CVS Inverclyde, said: "With the third sector in Inverclyde playing such a crucial role in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, helping individuals and communities at this difficult time, they, in turn, need support themselves.
"Our role at CVS Inverclyde has always been to support third sector organisations. Although we have dedicated significant resources to the COVID-19 pandemic through ramping up volunteering support, introducing our Shielders Service and more, we continue to be there for the wider sector.
"That's why we are offering a specialist telephone advice service for voluntary sector organisations working in these challenging times.
The I3-SAS service runs Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 5pm and is open to all third sector organisations working in Inverclyde.
