Research into impact of social distancing

New research being conducted by Professor Anna Whittaker and the SPARKLE team at the University of Stirling is looking at the impact of social distancing and self-isolation on social contact, loneliness, wellbeing and physical activity.

Adults experiencing social distancing and in one of the following categories: 60+ years, an unpaid carer, a person with a learning disability are invited to participate in a web-based online survey.

Click here for information sheet and easy to read pictorial version, both have a direct link to the survey or alternatively this can be accessed at www.stir.ac.uk/39i. Details of how to request a telephone interview if preferred are also included.

The researchers are keen to include as many individuals with a learning disability as possible but realise that support may be needed to complete parts of the survey. Family members and paid staff are also welcome to complete it.

Our team are currently working remote of the office but can be contacted via individual emails or ...
