New Greenock Health Centre
What we're building
Greenock's new Health Centre has been classed as an essential project by the NHS and has therefore remained open during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to this we have also been asked to extend our working hours at weekends and during the week. We will restrict the majority of this to internal works.
The external envelope is nearing completion with the scaffolding due to be stripped over the next few weeks. The Car Parks have been completed, with the Car Park in the site compound now being used by site traffic relieving pressure on the surrounding streets. The internal fit out works are also well underway with works ongoing on all four levels.
What's coming up?
From 6th July Scottish Power (SPEN) will be laying a new power cable for the building along Ann Street to replace the existing substation on Ann Street. This will take up to 31st July and will mean lane closures and restricted parking during this period, although the majority of the works should be complete in the first 2 weeks. This will be the last of the utilities to be installed and there is unlikely to be any further work required on Ann Street during construction.
