Significant Developments for People with Learning Disabilities in Scotland
Scottish Government's Learning/intellectual disability and autism: 'Toward Transformation' plan has been published.
The plan sets out what the Scottish Government and COSLA will do to help autistic people and people with learning disabilities now, and what it will do to help people recover from the pandemic. The publication of the plan is welcomed, and in particular its firm commitment to a human right focus.

The latest report from the UKRI study on Coronavirus and People with Learning Disabilities has been published. The study spoke to over 600 people with learning disabilities throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The easy read summary of the first report from the study can be found here
