Funding to help increase walking and cycling in Inverclyde.
The project is part of Sustran’s Places for Everyone Project and is being run by Sustrans and Inverclyde Council. It aims to create safe, attractive, healthier places and increase the number of trips made by walking, cycling, and wheeling for everyday journeys in Central and East Greenock.
Taking forward elements of the active travel strategy, the green network strategy and many other strategies, the work will develop a bespoke and co-ordinated approach to community participation and local place design. The project will involve undertaking surveys and delivering community engagement events.
Sustrans are looking for groups to bid for up to £25,000 worth of Community Engagement activities to deliver the project. To do this, your group must register to Public Contracts Scotland.
Within Public Contracts Scotland there is not a good fit for the category for this sort of service, so bidders are asked to add the “Research consultancy service” to their profile. This can be found here:
Bidders should also have their “Supplier Finder” profile set to “Yes”, so we can add you to the tender process.
