May Self-Directed Support Group Meeting

Wednesday 28th May 2014
12:30pm - 2:30pm

Rachel from Self-Directed Support Scotland will be speaking at this month's SDS Support Group meeting about what support they can offer from a national perspective. Frank from Inverclyde's Carers Centre will be returning during the second half of the meeting to offer more information surrounding carers issue which many have expressed an interest in.

The SDS Support Group is for anyone thinking about directing their own support or that of someone they care for, or who is already directing their own social care package.

Advocacy in Inverclyde understands that when it comes to finding out more about self-directed support and the different options, there's nothing quite like being able to talk to others in similar situations so please feel free to come along.

Circles Network Advocacy hope to raise awareness of self-directed support, connect people with other SDS Support Group members so that you can share your experiences and ideas and put people in touch with relevant organisations to help everyone make the best decisions for their circumstances.
