Vicki and Declan go extra mile

Vicki and son Declan go extra mile to support CVSI team
With new guidance from the Scottish Government stating that there may be benefits to wearing face coverings in public, CVS Inverclyde's Partnership Facilitator, Vicki Cloney, set about acquiring a supply for the local team who have been out and about serving the local community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Undaunted by the fact that supplies were unavailable until July, Vicki turned to her sewing machine with hands-on help from eight-year-old son Declan. They set about creating a batch of colourful, washable masks for the CVS Inverclyde team of Shielders, including the Community Link Workers.
