Bringing Rural Volunteering to the Big Screen

In just one week, CVS Inverclyde will host a special screening of our short film Putting Rural Volunteering on the Map at the Waterfront Cinema in Greenock

Our short film, co-produced with Hidden Meaning productions, focuses on the people and groups supporting Inverclyde's rural communities, celebrating local effort and community spirit. The film features volunteers from Friends of Wemyss Bay Station as well as other organisations and local volunteers in Kilmacolm and Gourock.

The screening is also a chance to talk to our Volunteering Team about what volunteering looks like in your area, and how you can get involved.

We would love to fill the cinema with volunteers, partners and anyone curious to find out more about volunteering in Inverclyde.

Know someone who volunteers locally? Please share the booking link with them.

Book your free tickets here (booking essential).

Wednesday 25 February at 4:30–5:30pm

Waterfront Cinema, Greenock

This project has been supported by Greater Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Local Action Group through the Scottish Government’s Community Led Local Development (CLLD) Programme.
