SCVO’s The Gathering 2026

Being a part of SCVO's The Gathering yesterday in Edinburgh felt special.

Partnership and Engagement Facilitator, Vicki Cloney spoke on a panel organised by Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland alongside Eddie McConnell from Scottish Commission for People with Learning Disabilities and Sean Macaskill from Autistic Knowledge Development CIC. Vicki's presentation focused on the importance of values, value and collaboration in shaping services, with reference to the Rainbow Model of Integrated Care and what meaningful partnership looks like in practice.

The session also featured lots of inspiring and profound reflections from the room around value-driven leadership. There was a real sense of energy throughout the day. It was encouraging to connect with the sector, share learning and reflect on how we continue to strengthen support for communities in Inverclyde in the face of challenges felt sector-wide.

Thank you to SCVO for delivering another fantastic event for the sector, we look forward to attending next year.
